Congratulations to Maple & Ouzo (and their owners) on Maple's first litter! A stunning litter of six girls and four boys born 11th June. This will be the only UK French Spaniel litter this year and is in line with our cohesive UK Breeding Programme. There are now only a few girls left to reserve - puppies ready for new homes from 6 August.

Maple
Born 10.02.2020, Maple is from working stock but is equally at home curled up on the sofa (or bed!), under my desk or ‘at work’ on a local shoot, where she will happily hunt, point and retrieve. She has many champions in her pedigree, including her Grandmother (Ivresse-Le-Parfum De L’Arche D’Urk) who was a World Champion. An intelligent, loyal and affectionate dog, she has a great nose and very strong HPR instincts.
SIRE - OUZO DE LA VALLEE DE LA SEULLES
Ouzo
Born 27.06.2018, Ouzo is an excellent trial (working) and show dog living in Normandy, France. His awards include Champion de France de Conformité au Standard (breed standard), Champion des Expositions Nationales and Trialer, competing regularly at National level. He is from a long line of champions and his owner is one of the pre-eminent breeders in France.
FRENCH SPANIELS IN THE UK
There are approximately 170 French Spaniels in the UK. They first came to the UK in 2010 and now 4 breeders are following a sustainable breeding plan to continue to grow our population while increasing the gene pool. The French Spaniel is a HPR breed, they work differently and are larger than your usual springer or cocker spaniel - to find out more about them see our "about" page.
We are now opening the waiting list for the 2024 litter - please do take the time now to find out more about the breed if you are thinking of adding a French Spaniel to your family. With only one litter per year we are keen to find the right owners for these rare dogs.
All our breeding stock are genetically tested for AMS and E-Locus and hip scored.

Congratulations to Maple & Ouzo (and their owners) on Maple's first litter confirmed by ultrasound last week! The litter is due around 12th June. This will be the only UK French Spaniel litter this year and is in line with our cohesive UK Breeding Programme.

7 July 3pm. Enter the French Spaniel "Best of Breed" Class at the Ashton Keynes Church Fete. Come along and complete to win Best of Breed for 2024. Small entry fee, Rosettes for Winners! Contact Libby for more info!
26-28 July 2024. The Game Fair is at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire this year. Ticket requests have been made. If you missed out we'd still like to see you there!

MEET THE TEAM
On Saturday we represented the Breed with 14 Dogs in the daily Parade of gundog Breeds. On "show" were Atlas, Willow, Maple, Ruby, Novak, Tilly, Jess, Rene, Harris, Juno, Freya, Reve and Margot

Our oldest member of the contingent and Great Grandfather/original sire who is reflected in our logo came along to meet up with some of his extended family!
